Overview

We are seeking a Manager – Financial Control to join CSL's Corporate Finance team on a 15-month fixed-term contract. This role sits within CSL Corporate and supports the entire CSL Enterprise, including CSL Behring, CSL Vifor, and CSL Seqirus. Reporting to the Senior Director, Financial Control, you will play a key role in maintaining financial policies, managing internal controls, and supporting statutory reporting across the group.

Responsibilities
  • You will lead the maintenance and enhancement of internal control frameworks and financial policies across CSL globally.
  • You will support enterprise-level financial risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • Help prepare half-year and year-end statutory financial statements, including audit coordination and compliance with ASX and governance requirements.
  • You will provide technical accounting support, including IFRS 16 lease accounting and complex journal reviews during month-end close.
  • You will collaborate with finance business partners, COEs, and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting and policy compliance.
  • You will contribute to projects affecting group statutory reporting, including sustainability reporting and potential demerger financials.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial controls, reporting, and accounting; experience with Big 4 firms and ASX-listed companies is highly desirable.
  • Professional accounting qualification (CPA or CA) is required; a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is necessary.
  • Strong technical knowledge of AIFRS, ASX rules, and accounting for acquisitions and demergers.
  • Experience working with SAP GRC and managing internal control processes.
