Job summary

Eaton in Schrems, Austria, is seeking a Test Engineer for LVSA to ensure that all switchgear assemblies are fully tested and validated before delivery.

You will plan testing, develop FAT procedures, lead FAT with customers, and work with cross-functional teams to improve testing quality, while maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with IEC 61439 and UL 508A.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Fluent German (min. B2) and fluent English (min. B2).
• 3+ years of experience in electrical testing, preferably LV switchgear/panel building/system assembly.
• Strong understanding of low voltage systems, protection devices, and control circuits.
• Knowledge of IEC 61439, UL 508A, etc.
• Experience with testing equipment and measurement tools.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Strong communication to collaborate cross-functionally.

EATON is hiring a Test Engineer to ensure that all LV switchgear assemblies are fully tested, compliant, and functionally validated before delivery, by planning and leading testing activities and FAT execution.

What we offer:

• Performance-oriented and attractive remuneration, depending on education, qualifications, and professional experience, of approximately EUR 60,000 gross per year, paid in 14 monthly instalments (overpayment above this amount is possible depending on qualifications and experience).
