Jobgether is recruiting on behalf of a partner company for a Legal Business Partner based in Switzerland (fully remote). This leadership-level role involves providing commercially focused legal guidance to teams across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, with a focus on complex commercial contracts, payments regulation, and data protection.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Law degree and qualification to practice in at least one relevant jurisdiction within the region.
• Experience: 6–8 years of legal experience across law firm and in-house environments.
• Specialization: Strong experience in commercial contracts and complex negotiations. Experience in payments, fintech, or broader technology is strongly preferred.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Good working knowledge of European payments regulation and GDPR/data protection requirements.
• Language: Fluent English required; additional regional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Serve as the primary legal business partner for commercial, partnerships, and operations teams across EMEA.
• Draft, review, and negotiate merchant, partner, vendor, and other commercial agreements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Advise stakeholders on payments regulation and data protection (including GDPR).
• Support corporate maintenance and governance matters for regional entities.
• Provide legal guidance on market entry, new products, and strategic partnerships.
• Manage multiple matters simultaneously across jurisdictions and time zones.
