About the role:
Looking to make a real impact through learning and development?
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Learning & Development Partner to join Unitywater on a contract to design and deliver learning and development initiatives that help to shape the capability and confidence of our people. You’ll play a vital role in delivering innovative learning solutions that support our strategic priorities, growth initiatives, and cultural transformation.
In this role, you’ll:

  • Conduct Training Needs Analyses to pinpoint key learning requirements
  • Consult with stakeholders to design and deliver learning strategies that build capability, confidence and connection, aligned to the 70:20:10 framework
  • Design and enhance engaging eLearning programs
  • Optimise our Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Use data and evidence-based insights to continuously improve learning outcomes
  • Research emerging trends and recommend fit-for-purpose, future-focused solutions that leverage technology
  • Implement feedback mechanisms that ensure continuous improvement and positive learning experiences for all

About you

Qualifications & Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a Learning and Development role
  • Cert IV in Workplace Training and Assessment
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in human resources, learning and development, or related field
Technical Skills
  • Strong digital literacy, with experience in learning design tools and eLearning development
  • Knowledge of contemporary learning practices, adult learning principles, and global best practice
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and HRIS learning modules
  • Experience with change management and/or project management methodologies
Capability & Approach
  • Skilled in designing, developing, and delivering learning strategies and programs
  • Ability to deliver tailored training solutions for different audiences (e.g. field and office-based staff)
  • Well-developed project management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and quality service
  • Effective team player who engages and motivates across all levels of the organisation
