Job summary

NXP Semiconductors, Gratkorn site, seeks an experienced Technical Director – System Architect to lead architecture and technical direction for UHF RFID systems. You will work with Product Management, Marketing, and Technical Leads to align requirements with customer needs and drive robust system designs across global teams.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in electronics/CS, proven RFID, wearables or IoT system architecture experience, and strong communication skills to influence stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Electronics/CS with 15+ years’ industry experience.
• Proven system-architecture leadership for UHF RFID, wearables, or IoT devices.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with cross‑functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define and refine product requirements with cross‑functional teams.
• Design robust system architectures aligned with requirements and use cases.
• Drive system integration and validation concepts with interdisciplinary teams.
• Support development and validation to ensure high quality and technical excellence.
• Interface with key customers from product definition through ramp‑up.
• Lead technical investigations and monitor competitor trends.
• Engage in RFID standardization activities (EPC).
• Collaborate with global teams and provide technical leadership across regions.
