Zusammenfassung

DataX Connect is seeking an experienced Lead Planner for a major Data Centre project in Austria. You will lead the planning function from development through commissioning, coordinating inputs from MEP disciplines and supervising a planning team on a circa €300m initiative.

You will collaborate with Project Managers and senior leadership to track progress, identify risks and deliver robust schedules, with a rotation of 10/4 and a strong emphasis on communication and governance.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as Lead Planner on major construction projects.
• Data Centre experience is highly desirable.
• Experience across MEP construction and ideally commissioning.
• Previous experience managing or leading a team of planners.
• Strong understanding of construction programmes, critical path analysis, progress measurement and programme reporting.
• Experience working on large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to operate confidently with both project teams and senior management.

I’m currently working with a leading European MEP contractor who are delivering the full MEP scope through to commissioning on a circa €300m Data Centre fit-out in Austria, and they’re looking to appoint an experienced Lead Planner to join the project team.

This is a key position within the project controls function, with responsibility for leading the planning function and ensuring the programme is effectively developed, maintained and communicated across the project.

The Role

As Lead Planner, you will:

• Lead and manage the planning team on a major Data Centre project
• Develop, maintain and manage the overall project programme through construction and commissioning
• Coordinate programme inputs across Mechanical, Electrical, Commissioning, Procurement and other project disciplines

About You

We're looking for someone with:

The Opportunity

This is a €300m+ Data Centre fit-out, with the contractor holding responsibility for the full MEP scope through to commissioning, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner to take a lead role on a major hyperscale project. An excellent salary is on offer along with a rotation of 10/4.
