YER Deutschland is seeking an experienced Project Director / Team Lead Data Center (m/f/d) to strengthen and expand the Mission Critical / Data Center organisation in Vienna. This is a permanent senior leadership role for a professional who has delivered complex Data Center projects from the General/Main Contractor or EPC/EPCM side.

You will build, structure and lead the project team in Vienna, overseeing cross-disciplinary delivery from pre-construction through handover and reporting to senior

Qualifikationen

• Several years of senior project leadership experience within large-scale construction, engineering or Mission Critical environments.
• Strong and demonstrable Data Center / Mission Critical project experience.
• Previous experience working for a General Contractor, Main Contractor, EPC or EPCM organisation.
• Track record as Project Director, Construction Director, Senior Project Manager, MEP Director, Project Lead or comparable senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience building, structuring and leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience delivering technically complex projects with significant MEP content.
• Strong understanding of construction, engineering, commissioning and overall project delivery.
• Experience working within large international project organisations.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
• Ability to manage clients, subcontractors and senior internal stakeholders.
• Experience with projects and construction-site structures in Germany and/or the wider DACH region is highly advantageous.
• Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
• Very good German and English language skills.
• Willingness to be regularly present in Vienna and, depending on project requirements, at Data Center sites.

• Leading senior Project Managers, Construction Managers, MEP Managers and other project functions.
• Coordination of Engineering, MEP, Construction, Commercial, Planning, Quality, Commissioning and HSE disciplines.
• Managing interfaces between client, designers, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.
• Leading senior-level client and stakeholder meetings.
• Identifying project risks at an early stage and implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
• Managing change, variations, claims and commercial risks together with the commercial team.
• Ensuring effective project controls, reporting and forecasting.
• Supporting procurement and subcontractor strategy for technically complex work packages.
• Driving project execution from pre-construction through construction, commissioning and final handover.
• Establishing clear processes, responsibilities and communication structures within the project team.
• Acting as a senior escalation point for technical, commercial and organisational project issues.
• Supporting the continued growth of the Data Center / Mission Critical business.

For an internationally operating engineering and construction company, we are looking for an experienced Project Director / Team Lead Data Center (m/f/d) to strengthen and further develop the Mission Critical / Data Center organisation in Vienna.

This is a permanent senior leadership position for an experienced project professional who has successfully delivered complex Data Center or Mission Critical projects from the General Contractor / Main Contractor side.
