Jobtailor in Linz, Austria seeks an experienced Lead Developer to modernize large Java/Jakarta EE systems, champion clean code and scalable architectures. You will be a technical role model, lead a development team and drive agile practices across the project.

You’ll mentor peers, shape architecture decisions, and reserve Fridays for evaluating new frameworks and cloud tools with the team to foster knowledge sharing across locations.

• Several years (at least 5 years) of experience in software development with Java / Jakarta EE, including architectural responsibilities.
• The technical and interpersonal skill set required for a lead position in a modernization project.
• Enjoy taking responsibility, making technical decisions and professionally coaching other developers.
• Very good German language skills.
