REWE Group Austria is seeking a Lead Developer (m/f/d) to take technical ownership of Java-based applications and services within Store ERP Systems. You will drive high-quality solutions using Java and Spring Boot, collaborating closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into pragmatic technical designs.

You will mentor and guide developers in an agile team, support projects end-to-end, and identify opportunities for system optimization.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of software development experience with focus on design and implementation of software systems.
• Strong knowledge of OO design, modern software architectures, and best practices.

• Take technical ownership of the design, development, and continuous improvement of Java-based applications and services.
• Drive the implementation of high-quality software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and code reviews to grow the team.
• Support projects from concept to implementation across their lifecycle.
• Analyze existing systems and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
