Zusammenfassung

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Switzerland is seeking a motivated Project Manager Engineering or Lead Engineer to lead converter system projects from sales/tender phase to initiation and through to completion, ensuring engineering deliverables are on time, within budget and meet quality requirements.

You will plan, execute and deliver projects, coordinate internal teams and external partners, define scope and milestones, assess resources, manage risks and communicate progress clearly.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project execution within an engineering environment.
• PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects in Engineering within defined timelines and budgets.
• Lead the technical solution development during sales and tender phase for Engineering.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in close collaboration with stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
• Communicate project plans, progress, and expectations clearly and proactively.
• Assess resource requirements and ensure effective allocation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track Engineering project milestones, timelines, and deliverables using appropriate tools.
• Identify technical risks early, manage changes in scope, and implement suitable mitigation measures.
• Lead, coach, and motivate project team members, fostering accountability and high performance.
• Conduct project reviews and capture key learnings, deriving actionable recommendations for future improvements.
