Zusammenfassung

INNIO Group in Austria seeks an experienced EIC engineer to lead the engineering, design and optimization of electrical, instrumentation and control systems for gas engine powered plants. You will prepare wiring diagrams, select sensors and plan commissioning across projects.

The role requires PLC/HMI programming experience, knowledge of CAE tools and willingness to travel up to 20% to support multi-site installations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering / Electronics / Mechatronics or HTL.
• At least 5 years in energy with EIC, automation or plant engineering.
• Knowledge of instrumentation, control tech and CAE tools.

• Engineering, design and optimization of EIC equipment and systems.
• Prepare wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams and technical docs.
• Select sensors, actuators and control components.

Your Responsibilities

• Engineering, design and optimization of E&IC equipment and systems
• Preparation and maintenance of circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• Selection and specification of sensors, actuators, measuring devices and control components
• Planning and support for commissioning, testing and troubleshooting of electrical and automated systems
• Execution of maintenance, inspection and improvement activities
• Programming and parameterization of PLC & HMI systems for multi-engine plants
• Definition of requirements for control system programming
• Ensuring compliance with standards, safety regulations and quality requirements
• Collaboration with internal specialist departments as well as external suppliers and service providers

Your Profile

• Bachelor's / Dipl.-Ing. / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics / Mechatronics or graduation from a Higher Technical Institute (HTL), with at least 5 years of professional experience in the energy sector
• Experience in E&I&C, automation or industrial plant engineering
• Knowledge of instrumentation and control technology as well as electrical engineering and design
• Experience with PLC systems, e.g. B&R, Siemens, Beckhoff
• Knowledge of CAE tools such as EPLAN
• Experience in commissioning, testing and maintenance of energy-sector facilities is an advantage
• Fluent German and Englis
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to travel 20%
