INNIO is seeking an Advanced Development Engineer (m/f/d) to develop, design, validate and release service products for Jenbacher gas engines in the fluid, digital and controls domain. You will collaborate with lead and senior engineers across multiple departments to ensure robust solutions.

The role requires a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or HTL, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and excellent German and English communication.

Aufgaben

• Develop, design, validate & release service products for Jenbacher gas engines.
• Support CMU/Conversion Modifications & Upgrades with Service PLM team.
• Improve existing products for robustness, usability, cost-out, and new tech.
• Collaborate with Technology, Sourcing, Validation and Service Regions.
• Document testing activities on development engines or rigs.
• Communicate with internal departments and suppliers for project execution.
• Support project management and multi-project delivery.
• Travel to customer sites or plants as needed.

As an Advanced Development Engineer (m/f/d) you develop, design, validate and release service products related to the fluid, digital & controls domain for maintaining & operating Jenbacher gas engines. You collaborate with lead & senior engineers over multiple departments.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, validate & release service products related to the fluid, digital & controls domain for maintaining & operating Jenbacher gas engines
• Support CM&U’s (= Conversion Modification & Upgrade) or productivity initiatives and work closely with Service PLM team
• Improve existing products (fix robustness issues, increase user friendlyness, cost-out, incoorporate new technologies or developments) based on priority
• Collaborate with cross functional teams like Technology, Sourcing, Validation Team and Service Regions
• Organization, preparation & documentation of testing activities on either development engines, rig test facilities or in field
• Continuously communicate with both the internal departments and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution
• Support the definition & execution of projects using project management techniques
• Work self-dependent & self-organized on multiple projects simultaneously
• Support innovation by assessment of current market trends. Create and evaluate ideas for continuous improvement

Your Profile:

• Bachelor/master's degree in engineering, higher technical college (e.g., HTL) or equivalent
• Minium of 3 years of experience in an engineering or technical service area
• High personal integrity and credibility and seeking the best customer solutions
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication skills and ability to get things done
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good technical understanding of reciprocating engine operation and maintenance requirements
• Excellent communication skills
• Profound working experience in technical service addressing oil & coolant assessment, digital solutions & controls related aspects (sensorics, analytics & condition-based assessment of engine components)
• Flexible mindset and ability to work on multiple projects and topics simultaneously
• Willingness to travel
• Fluency in German and English
