INNIO in Austria seeks a Lead Development Engineer to drive service product development for Jenbacher platforms, coordinating with Technology, Sourcing and Validation teams to ensure timely validation and serial release.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor/Master in engineering with 5+ years in engineering or technical service, demonstrates cross-functional collaboration, and communicates fluently in German and English.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor/ master's degree in engineering, HTL or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering or technical service area.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects.
• High personal integrity and credibility with engineering teams and senior management.

• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

• Profound knowledge of reciprocating engines and their systems.
• Knowledge of quality systems and project management methodologies.
• Experience or state-of-the-art knowledge in product concept development and data analysis techniques.
• Willingness to travel.
• Fluency in German and English.

Aufgaben

• Lead & drive Service Product Development projects from kick-off to validation and serial release with internal and external stakeholders.
• Focus areas are CM&U projects (Conversion, Modification and Upgrades), overhaul products or workshop support for Jenbacher platforms.
• Proactively manage the project deck including timelines, milestones and reports to management.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams like Technology, Sourcing, Validation Team, Service Regions.
• Document testing activities on development engines, rig test facilities or in field.
• Communicate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
• Support the definition & execution of projects using project management techniques.
• Work self-dependent & self-organized on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Support innovation by assessment of market trends and ideas for continuous improvement.
