Zusammenfassung

REWE Group Austria is seeking a Lead Developer (m/f/d) to take technical ownership of Java-based applications and services within Store ERP Systems. You will drive high-quality solutions using Java and Spring Boot, collaborating closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into pragmatic technical designs.

You will mentor and guide developers in an agile team, support projects end-to-end, and identify opportunities for system optimization.

Qualifikationen

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of software development experience with focus on design and implementation of software systems.
• Strong knowledge of OO design, modern software architectures, and best practices.

Job Description

• Take technical ownership of the design, development, and continuous improvement of Java-based applications and services
• Drive the implementation of high-quality software solutions using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into pragmatic technical solutions
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and code reviews to support the growth of team members
• Support projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from concept to implementation
• Analyze existing systems and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement

Qualifications

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in software development, with a focus on designing and implementing software systems
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, modern software architectures, and software engineering best practices
• Experience in leading developers or acting as a technical lead within agile teams
• Hands-on experience with Java/Kotlin (Spring Boot), RESTful APIs, microservices, integration patterns, and distributed systems
