Funstage Gmbh in Vienna is seeking a Kubernetes-focused DevOps engineer to design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure on Kubernetes and AWS. You will containerize applications with our backend stack and optimize cluster performance, costs, and security.

You will collaborate with a small, agile team, automate deployments with Helm, Kustomize, Flux and Pulumi, and integrate services like PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Snowflake and DynamoDB. English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Kubernetes engineer or similar role (e.g. DevOps engineer with Kubernetes focus).
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts, components, and APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Linux architecture and administration.
• Enjoy problem solving and have a keen eye for details.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement and manage infrastructure with Kubernetes and AWS
• Collaborate with our Ruby/Elixir backend team to containerize applications and deploy them on Kubernetes
• Optimize Kubernetes cluster performance, resource utilization, and cost-effectiveness
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions with Grafana/Prometheus
• Ensure the security of our environments by following best practices and implementing security controls
• Automate Kubernetes deployment and management processes using Helm, Kustomize, Flux and Pulumi
• Integrate application dependencies like RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, Snowflake, DynamoDB
• Develop internal tools that make our lives easier
• Deal with the challenges of an established and continuously growing project
