Zusammenfassung

TimeTac GmbH is seeking a Cloud Engineer to own our AWS environment and Kubernetes-based platform. You’ll automate provisioning, improve CI/CD pipelines and boost reliability and security for a growing engineering team.

You will work hands-on with AWS, EKS and Aurora, design infrastructure as code, and collaborate across DevOps to optimize cost and performance. Fluent English required; German a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Cloud/DevOps engineer or similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience, including EKS and Aurora, plus IAM and VPC networking.
• Production Kubernetes experience and IaC tooling expertise (Terraform, CDK, Pulumi).
• Linux systems, shell scripting, and automation over manual ops.
• CI/CD pipelines experience with GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
• Reliability, security mindset, and clear documentation.
• Fluent English; German skills are a plus.

• Design, build and operate AWS cloud infrastructure with a focus on EKS and Aurora.
• Evolve and maintain a Kubernetes-based platform in collaboration with development teams.
• Implement and extend infrastructure as code across environments.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines to speed up deployments and improve quality.
• Strengthen observability, monitoring and incident response.
• Drive cost, performance and security improvements across the cloud footprint.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team on troubleshooting and knowledge sharing.
