We are looking for a motivated and organized

Junior Technical Procurement Officer (m/f/d)

to join our team in Vienna as soon as possible.

YOUR ROLE:

As a Junior Technical Procurement Officer, you will support the procurement team in sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing technical goods and services for our Vienna-based production of electromechanical components for solar masts.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in sourcing technical products and services for our in-house electromechanical production.
• Prepare purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Assist in price negotiations, supply contracts, and delivery terms.
• Liaise with internal technical teams regarding goods specifications and requirements.
• Maintain and update procurement records and databases.
• Track order deliveries, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels.

YOUR QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree, e.g. in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Some 2 years of experience in a procurement, technical support, or supply chain role.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and technical products and components.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel). ERP or procurement software experience is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, is an advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
• Interest in sustainable green technologies.

The minimum annual salary (based on the Austrian Collective Agreement) amounts to some € 38,000. The actual salary is higher and is aligned to professional experience and qualification.
