Junior Signal Processing Engineer – Audio & Ultrasound (Embedded Systems Focus)

We are leaders in acoustic solutions based on MEMS speakers. Since 2018, we have been enabling our customers to bring new revolutionary audio products to the market. USound achieves this through radical miniaturization, power reduction, and increased production efficiency.

We arelooking for a highly motivated and self-driven junior engineer orgraduating student with a passion for signal processing, particularly inaudio and ultrasonic applications. This is an exciting opportunity towork on real-world problems and develop firmware for cutting-edge embeddedsystems in a technically challenging environment.

You’ll joina small, focused team and contribute to the design and implementation ofdigital signal processing features used in consumer devices and wearabletechnologies. You’ll be expected to learn fast, take initiative, and graduallytake ownership of meaningful parts of the project.

Responsibilities

• Support the design,implementation, and testing of signal processing algorithms foraudio/ultrasound applications.
• Assist in developing embedded Ccode for real-time firmware running on microcontrollers or DSP platforms.
• Run experiments, analyze data,and validate algorithm performance under supervision.
• Collaborate with experiencedengineers and take part in code reviews and feature planning.
• Gradually grow into takingindependent responsibility for features or components.

Experience and Qualifications

• Near completion or recentgraduate of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, ComputerEngineering, or related fields.
• Solid academic knowledge of digitalsignal processing – ideally with project or thesis experience in audioor ultrasound.
• Some hands-on experience with embeddedC/C++ or microcontroller programming (e.g., Arduino, STM32, etc.).
• Strong willingness to learn,experiment, and work through technical challenges independently.

Bonus Skills

• Familiarity with Bluetoothaudio stacks or TWS (True Wireless Stereo) devices.
• Experience with Pythonfor data analysis, algorithm prototyping, or automation.
• Exposure to Android audiostack or related app development.
• Previous internships or projectexperience in a similar domain.
