NXP in Austria is offering a role to strengthen expertise in debugging and related tools for secure embedded systems based on RISC-V. You will support NXP design teams, collaborate across locations, and contribute to security-related tasks and certifications.

The job focuses on developing debuggers, tracing, and code-coverage, with opportunities to work closely with HW and SW teams and participate in security-related projects.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in electronics, applied mathematics, computer science or similar.
• Understanding of embedded software development tools, e.g., gdb or OpenOCD.
• Knowledge of microcontroller architecture is essential.
• Programming skills in C/C++ and Python.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate on life cycle specification/development/test/verification/documentation/maintenance of debuggers for secure embedded microcontrollers.
• Build expertise for trace and code coverage for secure embedded microcontrollers.
• Interact with internal HW/SW teams to analyse/fix issues reported by customers or tests.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software development, quality, and testing methodologies.
