Job summary

CoolPeople Technology in Vienna is seeking an IT Project / Delivery Manager for risk management solutions. This part-time role (50%) supports banking risk and regulatory compliance initiatives, with one on-site day per week and up to 80% remote work.

You will lead agile and waterfall deliveries, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in PM, a related university degree, and knowledge of banking regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years end-to-end project management in predictive and agile environments.
• University degree in economics, IT or related field.
• Knowledge of banking regulatory requirements and IT governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead small to mid-size projects delivering IT solutions for banking risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Identify stakeholders, define roles and responsibilities, and support Business Owners / Product Owners.
• Plan, monitor and control to ensure on-time, on-budget, and quality delivery with focus on critical path.
• Manage risks, issues, changes and dependencies; coordinate internal and external IT vendors.
• Communicate with business, IT and senior management up to B-1 level.

Can you keep scope, budget and senior stakeholders aligned – in agile and waterfall alike? The IT unit of one of the largest banking groups in Central Europe is looking for an IT Project / Delivery Manager for its risk management solutions in Vienna. You will lead small and mid-sized projects delivering reliable IT solutions for banking risk management and regulatory compliance, as a part-time engagement (50 %) with one day a week on site.

Project

• IT solutions for banking risk management, regulatory compliance and decision-making data across Austria and CEE
• leading small and mid-sized projects including agile deliveries
• identifying stakeholders, setting roles and responsibilities, supporting Business / Product Owners
• delivering on time, on budget and in quality; planning and controlling with focus on the critical path
• managing risks, issues, changes and dependencies, coordinating internal and external IT vendors
• communication with business, IT and senior management up to B-1 level
• contract CP from 11/2026 for 4 months with extension option, part-time (50 %), Vienna with 80 % home office
  

Skills

• 3+ years of end-to-end project management in predictive and agile environments
