The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise, collaborating with the sales team, and advising customers in our business area Power Grid Cybersecurity. Work location: Stunning Austrian Mountains (Klaus, Vorarlberg)

IT/OT Engineer Cybersecurity, 80-100% (f/m/x)

What is it about

• Collaborate with sales managers to understand customer needs, translate technical requirements, and deliver optimal cybersecurity solutions
• Deliver tailored demonstrations and proof of concepts (PoC) to diverse audiences, including management, IT teams, SOC analysts, and OT personnel
• Act as a trusted advisor for different customer teams, guiding them through the design, implementation, and operation of our security solutions
• Set up, configure, and support cybersecurity solutions in complex IT and OT network environments, including substations, control centers, and power plants
• Provide on-site customer support, respond to inquiries, and conduct training sessions
• Contribute to a collaborative team culture by sharing expertise, supporting colleagues, and fostering innovation

What are your skills

• Strong knowledge of IT networking, virtualization technologies, and core cybersecurity concepts; familiarity with OT protocols is a plus
• Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to the audience and address their needs effectively
• You work independently and thrive in cross-functional teams, especially in close partnership with sales
• You are self-organized, proactive, and team-oriented with a focus on improvement and knowledge sharing
• Fluency in both German and English
