Zusammenfassung

SensIQon is seeking a pragmatic engineer to work on our IoT boxes from terminal box to dashboard. You will commission sensors, actuators and gateways both remotely and on site, and develop Python tools on the device for read loops and control panels.

You'll run Linux on the boxes, contribute to C++ firmware with the lead engineer, and support test days with clean documentation. German and English are required; Vienna-based, hybrid work in Austria is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Final-year students welcome.
• Practical experience with Python on Linux is expected.
• Ability to read datasheets and learn quickly.

Commission sensors, actuators and gateways – remotely and on site

Python tools on the box: read loops, controllers, watchdogs, operator panel

Run Linux on the boxes (systemd, releases, networking) and bring proven logic into the C++ firmware with the lead engineer

Support test days and document them cleanly

Electrical engineering, mechatronics or computer science – final-year students welcome

Confident with Python and Linux, ideally in the terminal on remote devices

Modbus/RS485 and industrial devices – or the ability to learn from a datasheet

Read C++, use Git, communicate clearly; German and English, based in Vienna
