Zusammenfassung

Austrian Airlines AG invites motivated students to join the Integrated Protection Management team for a 6-month internship starting September 2026. You will help shape safety and security across flight operations, infrastructure and employees.

You will drive digital transformation, prepare and execute projects, contribute ideas, evaluate risk analyses, and support day-to-day admin tasks while collaborating across divisions.

Qualifikationen

• You must be enrolled in school for the entire duration of the internship and include a current certificate of enrollment with your application.
• Very good German and English language skills are required.
• Highly motivated to contribute to safety management in an international airline.
• Passion for the aviation industry and ability to work well in a team.
• Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn; adept with digital tools and MS Office.
• Unrestricted work permit for Austria/EU is required.

Tasks

As a member of the Integrated Protection Management team at Austrian Airlines, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of flight operations, infrastructure, and our employees. The related responsibilities span nearly all areas of the company across the entire group.

• You will drive the digital transformation and further development of Safety & Security and serve as a key liaison across various company divisions
• You will proactively contribute new ideas in the area of Safety and Security Operations
• You will participate in the evaluation of risk analyses related to flight operations
• You will be responsible for independently preparing and executing projects
• You will support the team with administrative tasks in day-to-day operations

• You must be enrolled in school for the entire duration of the internship (a current certificate of enrollment must be included with your application)
• You have very good German and English language skills
• You are motivated to make a significant contribution to the safety management of an international airline
• You are passionate about the aviation industry
• You enjoy working in a motivated team
• You demonstrate initiative and a willingness to learn
• You have a general affinity for digital tools
