Job summary

Infineon Technologies Austria AG in Graz invites you to join our Operational Excellence internship. You’ll contribute to real projects with data processing, knowledge base maintenance, configuration for product data, and cross-functional collaboration.

This role supports experienced teams while you learn cutting-edge tools and methods in a global semiconductor setting. The position is a temporary, part-time internship of about 15–25 hours per week for at least 12 months.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; experience in customer service and operations.
• Highly motivated to learn change management and have initiative.

• Data Processing: Support pre and post processing of data within corporate information technology (IT) platforms.
• Knowledge Base: Maintain and update the knowledge database with textual and graphical content and manage access rights.
• Configuration: Maintain configuration setups for product development project data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Communication: Communicate with internal teams and external international developer teams to facilitate smooth collaboration.
• Reporting: Create and update weekly reports on large data sets using dedicated reporting tools.
• Learning Tools: Work with innovative artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support professional development.

Further Information

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time around 15-25 hours per week (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education: Pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools and experience in customer service, process and operations, and documentation
• Interests: Highly motivated to learn about change management activities and tools with a strong sense of self initiative
• Work Style: Highly organized and structured with an analytical mindset and a proactive and motivated approach to tasks
• Teamwork: Team player with excellent communication skills and a desire to work in an international team
• Language Skills: Very good command of English, both written and spoken, with German as a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2026-05-01.pdf).
