Overview

Do you want to be part of a highly motivated and international team in a future-oriented company? This internship is suitable for students within a degree program in Electronics or Electrical Engineering with a focus on Audio Engineering or similar and is the perfect opportunity to gain practical work experience while finishing studies. Responsibilities

• Work with experts at a global semiconductor company and leading MEMS microphone supplier to develop and characterize next-generation audio technologies
• Support our team with a strong focus on electro-acoustic lab work and early stage concept development
• Gain insights into the development of MEMS audio products for smartphones, hearables, IoT and automotive applications
• Measure and analyze performance parameters as well as audio quality of existing and next generation microphones
• Work on novel sensing concepts, experiment design, fixture preparation, data processing and visualization (e.g. Python, MATLAB) and listening tests
• Shape the next generation of microphone solutions

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Duration: min. 12 months

Requirements / Qualifications

You successfully meet the requirements if you are a motivated and committed master student (f/m/div) from the field of Electronics or Electrical Engineering with focus on Audio Engineering or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

• Background in acoustics and signal processing
• Lab skills
• Curiosity for state-of-the-art developments of microphone solutions in the semiconductor industry
• Good English skills
