This specific internship is suitable for students within a degree program in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or similar! Infineon Austria in Villach is the place to be!

In your new role you will:

• Create detailed architecture specifications from requirements
• Generate high-quality source code designs based on architecture specifications
• Ensure designs are testable and can be verified
• Integrate design methodologyinto the overall design flow
• Create and maintain libraries
• Verify designs in multiple domains
• Transform designs into physical implementations
• Validate designs on a Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA)

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time or Full-time(flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months


You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Electronics, Electrical Engineering or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

• Interest for an in-depth understanding of product development in the semiconductor industry
• Good understanding of standard analog/digital circuits on IC level
• Structured way of work with good analytical thinking
• Fluent communication skills in English and/or German

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
