Zusammenfassung

Infineon Technologies is looking for an intern in Analog IC Design in Villach. This role provides hands-on experience in semiconductor design and development while working with leading experts in a dynamic environment. The internship will last a minimum of 12 months, allowing you to apply your engineering knowledge and programming skills in real-world applications.

Internship: Analog IC Design Engineer for Programmatic IC Design Approach (f/m/div)

You are currently studying Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or a related subject? With this internship we offer you the chance to apply theoretical knowledge from the studies with practical experience. In addition, you can bring your Python, Git, Jira and Linux skills to full use! We are working on a revolutionary way to design analog circuits automatically by using programmatic IC design approaches.

As an important next step we need help in testing and extending library of low-level IPs (OTA, current DAC, etc.) and in demonstrating the potential of this bottom-up structural approach.

You will get the chance to work in a dynamic environment and get the opportunity to sharpen you analog IC design skills. Furthermore, you will be able to enhance your programming skills while collaborating with experienced design methodology and analog IC design experts.

Further Information
Type of employment: Temporary / Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 12 months

You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed last years Bachelor or Master student from the field of Electrical Engineering or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

  • Fundamental IC design knowledge
  • Programming language skills in Python
  • Basic understanding in Git, Jira and Linux
  • A logical understanding and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work effectively in a international team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2024.pdf).
