Qualifikationen

• Erfahrungen im Einkauf oder in Supply Chain-Prozessen für importierte Obst- und Gemüseprodukte.

International Produce Buying Expert (f/m/d) How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

• You’ll support in the planning, implementation and optimisation of international supply chain processes in the category of fresh fruit & vegetables
• In this role you’ll work on our European Fresh Produce (fruits and vegetables) Import Hub project
• You’ll play a major role in shaping the future supply chain for fruit and vegetables across all ALDI SÜD countries in Europe
• This includes analysing current processes and data as well as harmonising and developing new ones
• You’ll be responsible for establishing best-practice operational standards to streamline sourcing and logistics
• You’ll cooperate with internal teams, international suppliers, service providers, logistics companies and country organisations

Candidate Profile

The requirements of the role include:

• As a Produce Buying expert, you have completed a university degree, ideally in supply chain management, agricultural sciences or food technology
• You have got experience in the field of purchasing or supply chain processes for imported fruit and vegetables
• You are an expert in handling and processing fresh fruit and vegetables, such as ripening and quality assurance preferably within the retail sector
• You possess strong English language skills
• Reliable, structured and independent describe your way of working
• Your proactive, can-do attitude as well as communication skills are your strong points
• In addition, you are an analytical and solution-oriented thinker

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 60.900*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
