International Festivals and Events Project Manager

Location: Salzburg, Austria.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales and/or consumer event experience, combined with in-depth knowledge of On Premise and event marketing, and a strong understanding of the festival industry.
• Proven experience in event partnerships, account management, or global project coordination, managing multiple stakeholders across markets and functions.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, a structured, hands‑on, and solution‑oriented working style, and an existing strong network within the festival and events industry.
• Festival contracting experience, including the ability to manage detailed agreements and collaborate with multiple partners, supported by strong negotiation skills.
• High level of flexibility and commitment, with a willingness to work evenings and weekends in line with event schedules.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., German) is a plus.
• Travel 20–30%.

Compensation

Minimum salary according to the collective agreement: €2,362 gross per month. The full compensation package is market‑oriented and typically above this minimum.
