The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Vienna seeks a professional to support the Secretariat of the Ad Hoc Committee and future CoSP, providing legal analysis, drafting substantive documents, and servicing intergovernmental meetings in the field of cybercrime and information technologies.

You will collect laws and policy documents, prepare background papers, contribute to data-driven reporting, and guide consultants and staff while advancing implementation of the UN Convention

Qualifikationen

• Advanced university degree in law or related field required.
• Familiarity with cybercrime, crime prevention, or intergovernmental processes.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to the UN Convention against Cybercrime work and supporting documents.
• Draft pre-, in- and post-session materials for intergovernmental meetings.
• Prepare inputs for databases and directories of authorities.
• Draft background papers and government communications.
• Provide guidance to consultants and staff involved in implementation.
• Perform legal and policy research on evolving cybercrime issues.
