Jobbeschreibung

Tasks

We have been delighting our customers with Porsche-style driving systems for decades. The task of Driving System Development is to explore innovative approaches to developing the best possible driving systems of the future. The Driving System Development department is responsible for the development of driving systems across all model series, taking into account the requirements of driving dynamics, ride comfort, and braking behavior. In addition to the chassis, the driving system also includes driver assistance systems and the development of the electric drive – consisting of the electric motor, pulse-controlled inverter, and transmission.

During your internship, you will gain comprehensive insights into the Porsche working world. In our department, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the entire drive system and, depending on the focus of your studies, support us in one of the following areas:

Preliminary Development of Electric Drives

Evaluation and further development of electric drive systems, as well as modeling and control of electric drivesDesign, calculation, simulation, and testing of electric motors, pulse-controlled inverters, or transmissionsInterpretation and evaluation of measurement data from electric axle, electric motor, or transmission test benchesFurther development and evaluation of simulation models for the evaluation of relevant componentsStructured analysis of results and optimization of the drive system or individual components with regard to efficiency and performanceSupport in the use of Matlab/Simulink and/or FEM simulation (ANSYS Maxwell, FEMAG, etc.) and/or CAD software

Resource Management

Participation in drive system resource management with component usage allocation within the GroupWeight representations of all drive system-relevant components of the respective vehicle projectsAward management of development services and IT development support

Drive system integration

Participation in integration tests, support in preparation and execution of tests and evaluation of resultsSupport in the creation of test plans, test cases, and test proceduresCollaboration in the integration of software, hardware, and electronic components, as well as support in troubleshootingSupport in the development of methods and tools for automating integration and error management process stepsSupport in the use of VBA, JavaScript, and HTML

Driving System Quality

Development of a database for the evaluation of regulatory requirements and test results in driving system developmentEvaluation and replication of errors from test drivesSupport in the programming of relevant tools in the driving systemFamiliarization with and support of processes (e.g., chassis modifications) for type approval/test vehiclesSupport in the use of VBA, JavaScript, and HTML

Architecture and Functional Safety

Participation in the application of functional safety (FuSi) in the driving systemSupport in the implementation and evaluation of HiL, test bench, and vehicle measurement series for robustness analyses and approvalsPresentation of functional and architectural diagrams for the driving systemFamiliarize yourself with and contribute to topics related to Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

Electronics in the Driving System

Support in the area of ??driving system calibration on drivetrain test benches, HiL (hardware-in-the-loop) systems, and on the vehicleCollaboration in the development of smart actuators for control systems (differential lock, all-wheel drive, parking lock, etc.) in the transmission, as well as support with evaluationsConducting test bench and vehicle tests as well as error log evaluations for prototype vehiclesCollaboration in the further development of software/functions and optimization of driveline and chassis functions (e.g., tire pressure monitoring)Support in the use of MATLAB/Simulink, VBA, and Python, as well as in the vector tool chain (CANape, CANoe, and CANalyzer) and ETAS-INCAFor more detail, salary and company information, use the apply link
