Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Austria (Villach) seeks a student for a temporary/part-time role to support configuration management, requirements management, and documentation compliance in semiconductor development projects.

You will assist with tool administration for Windchill, JIRA and JAMA, help with basic scripting for automation, and contribute to reports and project documentation. The position offers flexible hours, a minimum 18 months contract, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Structured, detail-oriented working style with focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to collaborate and work independently.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor development and automotive development processes; ISO 26262 is a plus; familiarity with JIRA/JAMA/SVN and basic scripting is beneficial.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Configuration and Change Management: Assist in maintaining product configurations, baselines, and configuration records to ensure project data remains accurate and up to date
• Requirements Management: Support documentation, organization, and traceability of requirements throughout the development process
• Documentation and Quality Compliance: Review and maintain project documents while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and relevant quality standards
• Tool Administration and User Support: Provide support for engineering tools such as Windchill, JIRA, and JAMA, helping users with basic tool-related activities
• Reporting and Project Support: Prepare traceability and coverage reports and support project teams with configuration and documentation-related tasks
• Process Improvement and Automation: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and assist in developing simple scripts or automation solutions for routine activities
