ICON is seeking an Intern to join their clinical team in Austria. The role offers hands-on experience supporting various projects and developing skills in a collaborative environment. We are currently seeking an Intern to join our diverse and dynamic clinical team in Austria.
As an Intern at ICON, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment, supporting various projects and initiatives across the organization. You will work closely with team members to develop your skills and contribute to meaningful work that impacts our mission.
The role:
• Become familiar with ICON’s SOPs/WPs, ICH GCP guidelines, appropriate regulations, and ICON systems.
• Maintain timelines and ensure accuracy and completeness of data entered into ICON systems.
• Serve as a contact for sites and investigators participating in studies.
• Conduct and complete remote general administrative support for ongoing trials.
• Take responsibility for project tasks and see these tasks through to successful completion, with support.
• Maintain a professional interpersonal relationship with study team, sites, and sponsors.
• Participate in QA audits as needed.
• Regularly attend project-specific and departmental meetings.
• Maintain sponsor and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field preferred.
• Prior experience working in a clinical or healthcare environment is an advantage (e.g., internships, student roles, research support).
• Understanding of ICH GCP compliance.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Strong organizational skills.
• A team player.
