Clarivate is looking for an Intellectual Property Technical Consultant based in Graz, Austria. In this role, you will support customers in customizing and optimizing the Unycom software for their IP management needs.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, a strong command of English and German, and knowledge of XML and SQL. This permanent part-time position offers a collaborative environment within a hybrid working model.

We are looking for an Intellectual Property Technical Consultant to join our team.

You will be part of the Unycom solution Enhancement & Consulting Team. The Unycom solution is an Intellectual Property Management Solution for global companies. Our clients use our solution to manage their inventions, patents, designs, trademarks, contracts, etc. Additionally our solution is a communication and collaboration platform between internal and external users.

For this reason, the IP department's internal customer processes are managed with the Unycom solution.

You will act as subject matter expert for the integration of new features and optimizations of IP processes into the Unycom software.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments

• 5+ Years’ working experience
• Completed high school or university degree
• Excellent command of English and German (spoken and written), French would be an asset
• Experience in the software industry is desirable
• Basic knowledge in: XML, SQL, Jason, AI.
• Basic knowledge in the field of Intellectual Property (Patents, Designs, Trademarks)
• Best Case: IP Paralegal degree is desired (“Patentanwaltsfachangestellte(r)”) or a broad Intellectual Property know-how
• Joy in interacting and caring for our customers
• You have a strong interest in implementing software
• You have strong presentation and moderation skills

What will you be doing in this role?

You will be the main point of contact for our customers, supporting them in the customization and optimization of the Unycom software, such as:

• Be an expert for the Unycom software, features and processes
• Work collaboratively and closely as part of our Enhancement & Consulting Team with our customers.
• Perform user trainings for our customers (remote or on-site)
• Perform workshops to analyse and define customer tailored processes (remote or on-site)
• Configure customer processes in the Unycom solution via the user interface and/or Oracle database
• Be the main contact for customer regarding Unycom features and configuration of the Unycom solution.
• Work collaboratively and closely with different internal teams

About The Team

The team is located in Graz (Austria) and consists of Business Analysts & Technical Consultants with Intellectual Property background. Collaborative environment where team members work closely together and with Product Management, Premium Service and Presales teams.

Hours of Work

This is a permanent part-time position based out of our Graz office on a hybrid basis.
