Job Description:

An international group focused on hydro projects seeks a Legal Insurance Specialist with expertise in liability and cyber insurance, risk management, contract review, and M&A support. The role involves managing global insurance policies, analyzing loss data, reviewing contracts, and supporting M&A activities, all within an international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage liability insurance line, renew policies, coordinate with brokers and insurers, and handle complex liability claims.
• Oversee cyber insurance policies, collaborate with IT and brokers, and lead incident response.
• Perform risk management activities including data analysis, exposure identification, and loss prevention.
• Review and negotiate insurance requirements in EPC contracts.
• Support M&A activities by soliciting quotes and analyzing insurance offers.

Qualifications:

• Preferably a legal background with common law expertise.
• At least 10 years of experience in insurance, law firm, or insurance department of an international company.
• Deep knowledge of third-party liability insurance and global insurance programs.
• Ability to work internationally, including travel.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is an advantage.
• Independent, precise, and team-oriented working style.

This is a fully remote position with potential travel within the EU and US. Salary ranges from 60,000 to 85,000 € plus MBO up to 15% and benefits. No people management responsibilities.
