Job Description:

An international group focused on hydro projects operates in an international environment. Reporting to the Group Insurance Director, the candidate should possess key technical skills including:

• Liability Insurance Line Management: managing global master general and professional liability policies, coordinating local and project policies, collaborating with brokers and insurers, managing complex liability claims, and maximizing coverage.
• Cyber Insurance Line Management: renewing and placing cyber insurance policies, collaborating with IT and brokers, overseeing underwriting, and leading cyber incident response teams.
• Risk Management: analyzing loss data, identifying exposures, recommending solutions, and ensuring compliance with insurance procedures.
• Contract Review: analyzing and negotiating insurance requirements in EPC contracts.
• M&A: soliciting quotes for reps and warranties insurance, analyzing offers, and facilitating the process.

Qualification Requirements:

• Preferably a legal education, with common law preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in an insurance company, insurance department of an international company, or law firm.
• Deep understanding of third-party liability insurance, insurance markets, and litigation.
• Ability to work globally, including international travel.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is an advantage.
• Independent, precise, problem-solving skills, team spirit, and commitment.

This is a fully remote position with potential business trips within the EU and US.

Salary package: 60/85k€ + MBO up to 15% + benefits. No people management responsibilities.
