Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee or perform inline inspections for samples in production, according to standards.

• Take samples from incoming goods or production and perform visual/functional tests onsite.
• Use check routines and lists and select appropriate test devices.
• Raise issues or stop materials to prevent usage when necessary.

Job description

• Overseeing or executing in-line inspections for samples in production, according to given standards.
• Ensuring quantitative and qualitative analysis, such as testing and measuring using specific test equipment.
• Documenting results of inspection in the respective IT systems.
• Releasing deliveries, products and services which meet expectations.
• Deciding on stoppage for (semi-)products which does not meet quality requirements and escalates cases.

• Performs visual (or specific sensual) checks, and additional (e. g. functional) tests onsite, in accordance with test specifications.
• Utilizes check routines, check lists, and select respective test devices, according to the subject to check.
• Raises issues, or may have authority to stop / prevent materials or parts from further usage, within clear cases.
• Document results in the system.
