Jobbeschreibung

What do we need from you?

1. Hold an NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical discipline or have completed an approved Apprenticeship.
2. Possess a full driver’s license.
3. Experience in Industrial Electrical & Control System Asset Installation.
4. Experience in using and interpreting electrical schematics and other relevant technical information.
5. Experience in installing & terminating multicores, ladder & tray work, conduit & trucking installations, control and SCADA installations.
6. Have the ability to:
   • Use and interpret electrical schematics, manuals, asset standards, and other technical information for installations and remedial works.
   • Work in accordance with the company and customer safe systems of work and permit to work systems.
   • Adapt and respond to unforeseen events appropriately.
   • Plan and coordinate effectively without supervision.
7. If not already known, a willingness to learn new skills such as:
   • Electrical fitting activities on High Voltage switchgear, transformers, and associated equipment.
   • Installation of control and protection equipment.
   • Installation of earthing systems.
   • Installation of outdoor equipment like bus bars, disconnectors, and switchgear.
   • Maintenance of High Voltage equipment.
   • Fault finding on Low and High Voltage equipment.
   • Receiving high voltage documents.
   • Supervision of movement of long objects in an open bar compound.

Additional Information

• You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and be able to walk and stand on uneven ground.
• Ability to work at height or within confined spaces without restriction.
• Must live within the area advertised.
