Job summary
CARBAGAS AG, a member of the Air Liquide Group, seeks an ASU Industrial Technician (m/f/d) 100% to perform electrical maintenance, instrumentation calibration and process control tasks in an industrial setting. The role includes on-site commissioning, safety compliance and participation in major plant revisions.
Requirements include EFZ in Automatiker/Elektromonteur or equivalent, experience with PLCs/DCS, and strong English; German is a plus.
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training in a technical field (EFZ) as Automatiker, Elektromonteur, Elektroinstallateur or Netzelektriker.
- Experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in industrial settings.
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, pneumatics, hydraulics and instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on electrical systems and MCCs.
- Calibrate and maintain instrumentation, sensors and gas measurement systems.
- Diagnostics and small software/hardware changes on PLCs and DCS.
- Ensure regulatory electrical safety compliance and participate in audits.
- Coordinate on-site electrical modifications and commissioning of new systems.
- Join local on-call rotation for emergency electrical troubleshooting.
