Job summary

World Bank Group's IFC in Vienna seeks an Investment Analyst for MAS Europe to help design, negotiate, structure, and supervise manufacturing, agribusiness and services investments across the region.

You will build financial models, analyze statements and projections, conduct market research, and prepare client-ready presentations while collaborating with investment officers in a multicultural, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or another relevant field.
• At least 2 years work experience in a financial institution, particularly in investment projects.
• Ability to develop complex financial models.
• Ability to conduct company financial statement analysis.
• Proven aptitude in accounting, finance, financial modeling, DCF, scenario analysis and comparables.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models and projections.
• Analyze historical financial statements and report on financial health and viability.
• Analyze financial projections and report on viability of businesses.
• Monitor performance and prepare portfolio reports.
• Conduct industry and market research to support IFC’s business development.
• Prepare presentations and documentation for internal reporting and external communication.
