SICPA is seeking an Image Processing Engineer in the Materials and Detection R&I department to develop and optimize computer vision solutions for machine-readable authentication and traceability systems.

You will work on feature detection, recognition, and OCR tasks, using PyTorch, OpenCV, YOLO, and multimodal LLMs, while collaborating with optics, electronics, and software teams to deploy in embedded industrial environments.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Computer Vision or Image Processing (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of image processing and computer vision techniques.
• Experience with Python and/or C/C++ for algorithm development.
• Proficiency with PyTorch, OpenCV, YOLO, and multimodal LLM technologies.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and optimize image processing and computer vision algorithms for machine-readable authentication systems.
• Design and evaluate algorithms for feature detection, classification, segmentation, and image enhancement.
• Analyze large image datasets to improve detectability and robustness.
• Support development of algorithms for optical inspection, authentication, traceability, and quality control.
• Collaborate with optics, electronics, and software teams to integrate solutions into embedded and industrial systems.
• Perform experimental testing, validation, and benchmarking under varying conditions.
• Document algorithms, test results, and studies through reports and presentations.
• Contribute to technology scouting and literature reviews of CV technologies.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary project teams including scientists, chemists, optics engineers, electronics engineers, and software developers.
