Job summary

Erste Group Bank AG in Vienna offers a part-time internship in the ICAAP within the Enterprise-wide Risk Management division. The program runs 19.25 hours per week for 12 months, starting January 2027, and includes exposure to cross-risk analysis and regulatory reporting.

Ideal candidates are currently studying banking, economics, IT, math or statistics, fluent in German and English, with strong analytical and IT skills (SQL, VBA, Python, Databricks) and team spirit.

Qualifications

• Ongoing studies in banking, economics, business, IT, maths or statistics.
• Basic knowledge of risk management and financial products.
• Strong analytical, administrative and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis on cross risk issues with focus on credit portfolio models in ICAAP.
• Analyze drivers of risk profile development using established tools.
• Coordinate inputs from multiple entities and perform reconciliations.
• Participate in development of analytical ICAAP tools.
• Assist in preparing presentations for senior management and regulators.
• Support day-to-day management tasks.
