Andritz AG is seeking a Hydraulic Design & CFD Engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen the Hydraulic Engineering team in the Pump Technology Center in Graz, Austria. The role focuses on hydraulic developments, CFD simulations, and testing coordination in an international environment.

You will coordinate hydraulic developments, perform CFD studies, and collaborate closely with testing experts to optimize efficiency and reduce cavitation in pump components.

Qualifikationen

• Technical education (University / University of Applied Sciences).
• Expertise in Hydraulic turbomachinery.
• Experience in CFD.
• Knowledge in measurement technology.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate hydraulic developments
• Carry out theoretical studies
• Prepare and execute CFD simulations
• Guidance and support along test stand measurements
• Evaluation of test results to close the feedback loop between theory and practice
• Further development of testing technologies with our testing experts
• Improve hydraulic components regarding efficiency, cavitation, etc.
• Design of hydraulic components (impellers, spiral casings, suction elbows, return channels, sealing labyrinths)
• Preparation of reports and papers
