Job summary

Gurkerl is seeking an Associate Product Owner for Last Mile operations. You’ll own a courier-system process end-to-end, translate requirements into user stories, and work daily with developers in an agile team to deliver improvements on the floor of our sites.

You’ll analyze KPIs, write clear acceptance criteria, and prepare SOPs to support new features. A 20% travel willingness and English at B2+ level are expected.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in operations, logistics, e-commerce, or a product/analyst role.
• Interest in how software changes physical operations.
• Proficient with data; Excel is required; SQL or BI is a plus.
• Clear written communication to write a developer-ready requirement.
• Some exposure to working with tech teams or agile ways of working.
• English B2+, Czech or German is a plus if relevant to sites.
• Willingness to travel to sites (20%).

Responsibilities

• Own one operational process (courier systems) end to end from the product side.
• Spend time on the floor with site teams to understand pain points and gather requirements.
• Translate requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria and maintain backlog.
• Work daily with developers in an agile team: define, refine, test, accept, roll out.
• Track KPIs for your process and use data to decide what to fix next.
• Prepare simple SOPs and support site teams when new features go live.
