We’re looking for a Head of Social Media who truly understands how social media content and advertising work together across the entire customer journey to create real business impact. You master all facets of social media at a state-of-the-art level—not only understanding how content works today, but also where trends are heading. You leverage the latest AI tools, are up-to-date with the Creator Economy, Social Selling, Commerce and Retail Media, and anticipate how these areas will evolve. Your expertise enables you to guide our team through a constantly evolving market—from new channels and shifting user behaviors to innovative processes and future opportunities.

What you will do:

  • Shape the Future: Develop social media strategies that actively drive change—covering AI, the Creator Economy, Social Selling (TikTok Shop, etc.), Retail & Commerce Media, and omni-channel approaches
  • Enable & Support the Team: Act as a sparring partner for the team, build knowledge, provide impulses, and help foster both creative and consulting excellence
  • Drive State-of-the-Art Excellence: Bring the latest trends, tools, and technologies into our creative and consulting work
  • Deliver Business Impact: Understand how content and advertising interact along the customer journey to generate measurable value for our clients
  • Establish New Processes: Implement new workflows and ways of working that meet the demands of a rapidly changing market
  • Consult Key Clients: Be the go-to advisor for our key accounts, confidently presenting innovative social media solutions

What we expect:

  • Proven Leadership: Several years of experience in social media strategy and team leadership, ideally in an agency or brand environment
  • Strategic Vision: Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem, platform-specific trends (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), and the ability to anticipate and drive market change
  • Innovation & Curiosity: Passion for new technologies, AI, and the Creator Economy, with a proactive approach to integrating them into daily work
  • Strong Communication: Excellent consulting and client management skills, able to lead high-level conversations and influence decisions
  • Team Empowerment: Track record of building, mentoring, and inspiring high-performing teams
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both German and English
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally for workshops, client meetings, and team events
