Head of Proposition & Products, SME (f/m/x)

At Raiffeisen Bank International, we support small and medium-sized enterprises across Central and Eastern Europe in managing their daily business, financing their ambitions and building long-term resilience. As our new Group-wide Head of Products & Proposition, SME, you will shape and transform how we serve these customers across our markets. You will bring together lending, payments, cards, insurance and relevant non-banking services to create a simpler, more connected and competitive SME proposition. Working closely with our network banks, business units, technology teams and strategic partners, you will turn customer and market opportunities into scalable solutions with measurable impact. Your role at RBI:

• Define and lead RBI’s Group-wide product and proposition agenda for SME banking, translating the overall SME strategy into clear priorities, investment cases and implementation roadmaps.
• Shape an integrated proposition for different SME segments, covering lending, business accounts, payments and cards, foreign exchange, insurance and relevant non-banking services.
• Lead the transformation of SME lending by simplifying and digitising the customer journey, improving speed and transparency, and promoting responsible data-enabled and automated solutions, with strong focus on AI enabled solutions.
• Build strong partnerships and an SME ecosystem that connects banking services with relevant solutions such as invoicing, accounting, payroll, expense management and business administration tools.
• Turn approved propositions into executable programmes, align stakeholders across countries and functions, remove delivery obstacles and ensure that initiatives achieve measurable customer, commercial and risk outcomes.

Your core competencies:

• Extensive leadership experience in SME banking, product management, proposition development or the transformation of financial-services offerings.
• Strong knowledge of SME lending, payments, cards and digital banking, combined with a good understanding of insurance, foreign exchange and complementary non-banking services.
• Proven ability to translate customer insights and market developments into commercially attractive, scalable products and end-to-end customer journeys.
• Strong delivery and change-management skills, with experience leading complex cross-functional and cross-country initiatives from concept through implementation and adoption.
• Excellent stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to build commitment, resolve competing priorities and influence senior decision-makers without relying solely on formal authority.
• Customer-focused and collaborative leadership style, supported by sound judgement, commercial orientation, integrity and a strong drive for measurable results.

• Competitive salary: In accordance with Austrian legal requirements, the minimum salary for this position is EUR 79.200,00 gross per year under the applicable Banking Collective Agreement. The actual salary is typically higher and will be determined individually based on your qualifications, professional experience, and the specific requirements of the role.
