Job summary

Computer Futures seeks an experienced Network Security professional to strengthen critical security services in a high-security IT environment in Vienna.

You will contribute to firewall, VPN, WAF, DDoS protection, and Zero Trust initiatives, collaborating with Security, Infrastructure and Operations teams. Flexible work arrangements and home office up to 50% are offered.

Strong analytical skills and stakeholder collaboration are valued; leadership experience is advantageous but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience in Network Security, Cyber Security, or Infrastructure Security.
• Hands-on expertise with enterprise security technologies and connectivity solutions.
• Good understanding of Firewalls, VPNs, Network Segmentation, DDoS Protection, WAF, IPS, and Zero Trust environments.

Responsibilities

• Support the evolution and optimization of enterprise network security services.
• Work with technologies including Firewalls, VPN, WAF, Intrusion Prevention, DDoS Protection, and Privileged Access solutions.
• Contribute to the implementation of Zero Trust principles and modern access security concepts.
• Ensure secure, resilient, and highly available connectivity services.
• Participate in security transformation and infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate closely with Security, Infrastructure, Operations, and Architecture teams.
• Support incident response, problem management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

For a leading international organization operating a complex and highly secure IT environment, we are seeking an experienced Network Security professional to help shape and strengthen critical security services.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong technical expertise in network and infrastructure security. Previous leadership experience is not strictly required. However, candidates who have led projects, mentored colleagues, or taken informal leadership responsibilities will be viewed favourably.

Your Responsibilities

Your Profile

• Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
• Previous people management experience is not required
• Leadership potential, project ownership, or mentoring experience would be considered an advantage
• Solution-oriented mindset and strong analytical skills
