As the Head of Innovation (HOI), you will lead and align the company’s innovation strategy, ensuring we stay at the forefront of the markets. You will have the authority to set the innovation agenda, allocate resources, and drive the development of disruptive products and services—from early-stage concepts to market-ready solutions. You will engage with internal stakeholders and the B2B2C customer ecosystem while fostering a culture of innovation across the organization.

The role

As the Head of Innovation (HOI), you will lead and align the company’s innovation strategy, ensuring we stay at the forefront of the markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Incubator and R&D teams, fostering a culture of innovation.
• Engage with the B2B2C customer ecosystem to ensure disruptive ideas and concepts align with market demands and future customer expectations.
• Champion the company's innovation efforts by briefing B2B2C ecosystem stakeholders on upcoming innovations and their value based on the R&D pipeline.
• Participate in industry conferences to gain new perspectives and insights that can inspire future innovation initiatives.
• Coordinate innovation streams with Corporate Strategy to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
• Drive innovation and R&D activities, ensuring priorities are effectively managed and operational support is provided.
• Manage the execution of turning early-stage concepts into fully realized products and services, meeting customer timelines and delivering market value.
• Creative freedom to explore basic principles, technology concepts, and applications beyond immediate market demands to create groundbreaking disruption.

Qualifikation

• Master’s degree in Science or Engineering, with a passion for aviation, yachting
• Proven track record in leading innovation processes, particularly in concept creation, R&D, and disruptive technologies.
• Strong design thinking skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
• A collaborative leader who balances entrepreneurial spirit with achieving business results.
• Experience in mentoring and developing teams to achieve ambitious goals.
• Ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to engage and inspire stakeholders.
• Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with diverse teams, organizations, and customers.
• Fluency in German and English; additional languages (e.g., French) are a plus.
