Zusammenfassung

Swissgrid AG seeks a strategic Head of Capacity & Congestion Management to lead the team, optimise grid utilisation and connect market and grid across Europe. You will drive end-to-end planning, coordinate with authorities and TSOs, and shape long-term capacity strategies in a complex regulatory environment.

Strong leadership, negotiation skills and a deep understanding of energy markets are essential. Fluent German and English are required; French is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in EE, economics or natural science; economics preferred.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in electricity trading, dispatch or grid operations.
• In-depth knowledge of energy markets and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience leading an organisational unit and people management training.
• Strong negotiation with international partners and conflict resolution.

Aufgaben

• Lead Capacity & Congestion Management team and develop capabilities.
• Anticipate regulatory and market changes and derive future-ready solutions for market, operational and cross-border planning.
• Ensure end-to-end processes with performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Active contribution to national and European collaboration and representation of Swissgrid’s interests with authorities, TSOs and market partners.
• Lead people and resources, foster trust and performance, manage budgets and risks.
