Qualifikationen

About the Role

As the Head of Real Estate for the South East Europe region at Siemens Energy, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal, effective, and efficient real estate operations within the region. Your role will encompass strategic asset and property management, aligning these strategies with company goals to ensure optimal performance across the regional portfolio.

A Snapshot of Your Day

  • Organize project teams, assign responsibilities, develop schedules, and determine resource requirements
  • Develop and implement a 5 year maintenance strategy for all real estate units within your area of responsibility
  • Support and implement strategies for achieving Siemens Energy’s strategy for carbon reduction from the built environment by 2030
  • Develop and implement a strategy for facility management provision within your area of responsibility
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align strategies with business goals
  • Develop and execute asset and property management strategies aligned with global goals, providing market insights for decision-making
  • Ensure efficient use of office, manufacturing, and warehouse space, optimizing space allocation to support company activities
  • Analyse regional real estate portfolio performance, suggesting opportunities for expansion, consolidation, or optimization
  • Supervise maintenance teams, address repair requests, and plan necessary upgrades to keep properties in optimal condition
  • Engage and manage subcontractors for facility management, facility services, and security
  • Ensure compliance with local legal, operational, and Siemens Energy regulations, including safety standards.
  • Monitor and support the negotiation of leases, purchases, and sales, and drive space reduction initiatives in collaboration with regional and hub management.
  • Monitor and control budget allocation for asset management, property operations, maintenance, and capital improvements.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree with a background in Real Estate, Architecture, Facility Management, or a related field
  • Fluency in both English and German is required
  • Over 10 years of experience in corporate real estate management and/or industrial production management
  • Proven experience in facility management
  • Strong understanding of real estate processes
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multinational and multicultural team environment

At Siemens Energy we offer competitive compensation and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. Due to the Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of,72 € gross/year for a full-time position (38,5 h/week).
